Week 9 – Going Through the Research Process

This week in the program, I spent more time working on developing my research project and organizing my ideas. As I continue learning more about my topic, I’m realizing that research is not always a straight path. Sometimes you start with one idea, but as you learn more information, your thinking changes and you begin to see new directions your project could take.

One thing I worked on this week was looking deeper into the background of my topic and thinking about how it connects to real-world problems. Doing research takes patience because it can take time to fully understand the science behind something. I also noticed that asking questions and talking about ideas with others can really help. Hearing other perspectives can make you think about things you might not have considered before.

Another thing I focused on was how to clearly explain my ideas. Being able to communicate your research is really important because other people need to understand why your topic matters. Even if you have a strong idea, it only works if you can explain it clearly.

Overall, this week helped me continue developing my project and improving my research skills. Each week I’m learning more about how the research process works and how important it is to stay organized, patient, and open to new ideas.
